本委員会は、日本が世界をリードする電磁波プロセス技術（特にマイクロ波）の利活用を通じて、産業分野におけるグリーントランスフォーメーション（GX）を加速することを目的としています。脱炭素化効果の定量的評価や社会実装へのロードマップを提示するとともに、異分野融合による研究開発や標準化、情報発信にも取り組み、新たな産業創出と我が国の競争力強化に貢献します。

This committee aims to accelerate the Green Transformation (GX) of industry by leveraging Japan's world-leading electromagnetic wave processing technologies, particularly microwave applications. It seeks to present a quantitative assessment of decarbonization effects and develop a roadmap toward widespread implementation. Furthermore, by fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, the committee promotes a broad spectrum of R&D from fundamental science to practical applications, ultimately contributing to the emergence of new industries. Social implementation, standardization, and strategic outreach will be pursued through dedicated subcommittees to enhance industrial competitiveness and societal impact.
